- Conference: The Ethics of War in the 21st Century 2014-05-20 This conference will mark the opening of the Stockholm Centre for the Ethics of War and Peace, which is based in the Philosophy Department at Stockholm University and funded by the Wallenberg Foundation. The theme of the inaugural conference will be the Ethics of War in the 21st Century, with an emphasis on how just war theory has evolved since 9/11.
- Wallenberg Public Lecture on the Ethics of War and Peace 2014-05-17 The Wallenberg Public Lecture on the Ethics of War and Peace is a public lecture, to be held annually at Stockholm University prior to the Stockholm Centre's annual conference. Each year, a distinguished scholar will be asked to give a public address, suitable for a mixed audience, exploring the theme of that year's conference. The first lecture in the series will be delivered by Professor Jeff McMahan of Rutgers University.
- Graduate Reading Retreat 2014-05-15 The Stockholm Centre will host an annual Graduate Reading Retreat. Up to six places will be available each year for graduate students doing philosophical work in the field of the ethics of war and peace.
