Daan Evers was born in Zwolle (the Netherlands) and obtained his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Utrecht (2004). He subsequently went to Oxford, where he obtained a B.Phil (2007) and D.Phil degree (2011) in philosophy. He was a postdoc at Utrecht in a project on free will and indeterminism (2011 - 2013) before coming to Stockholm for a postdoctoral research fellowship (2013).

Evers has taught seminars and tutorials in moral philosophy, aesthetics and the philosophy of language. His main research interests are in metaethics.
