There are many organisations that create rankings of universities and research. 'QS World University Rankings' is one of the most ambitious rankings by subject level. Their ranking is based on a combination of four quantified variables: Academic reputation, Employer reputation, Citations per paper and H-index citations. In the overall ranking by subject level for 2017, for philosophy, Stockholm university is ranked in the group 50–100. 

Stockholm university is the only univeristy in Sweden to make it to the top 200 in philosophy.
